Test Prep Courses

We'll help you meet the demands of preparing for your college entrance exams.

Admissions officers consider grades, class rank, extracurricular activities and test scores when they make their decisions about whether to accept or deny students.

We can help you in all of those areas!

Freshmen & Sophomores

The PSAT is a great opportunity for students to get an idea of their strengths and weaknesses in various skills that are necessary for college study.

It's also helpful because it lets them prepare based on what they need the most help with, so no time will be wasted working through unnecessary practice problems.

The final benefit comes from seeing how your performance compares against other high schoolers applying to colleges across the nation, this can give you more confidence as we head into application season!

Some lucky students even win scholarships offered by National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC)!

Juniors and Seniors

The end of year sophomores, juniors and seniors should be seriously preparing with SAT tutoring or ACT college entrance exam two to four months prior.

All four years of high school students need to read comprehension and vocabulary skills in addition, we have found a majority that come during the Test Masters Program needs math (Algebra 1 & 2 Geometry Trigonometry).

Preparation starts two-four month before allowing them time to navigate through different types of questions given on PSAT/SAT/ACT.

We can't forget the importance of learning test-taking tricks and how to allocate time.

For example, if a student needs more intense review in Math or English courses from high school we will sit down with parents and discuss concerns about their child's performance on tests before deciding what is needed next for tutoring sessions.

If this involves additional remediation that takes place outside our typical hours it may not be included so students are aware of these fees ahead of time when signing contracts which need re-negotiation as well depending on circumstances.

2 Hour Initial Consultation

The cost is $97 for the 2-hour Initial Consultation (to be applied to the total cost of the Test Masters Program if you enroll).

A bill will go out via email, and payment must be made online before attending. The initial consultation usually takes place during school or on a weekend day due to scheduling constraints.

This time allows both students and tutors to get better acquainted with one another's learning style so that they can establish rapport going forward into our sessions together in order to maximize your test score improvement potential!

We'll also discuss how this exam is scored, it may help us strategize ways we might want to focus your studying efforts as well as assess where improvements are most needed at present based upon past scores/grades received thus far throughout high school!

The next session after purchase of the full Test Masters Program, we will go over a take-home diagnostic test that was completed by each student.

We want to make sure students see where they need improvement and which program is best suited for them moving forward so this takes priority in our sessions.
